Longing
By P M Pimentel
Red
eyed and needing,
I race for your vulnerability,
Your need for me,
My candles are lit, where are you?
Hand through my hair,
White pages, scattered,
I write like it matters tonight,
Maybe I need to lay my head down,
Pretend like the world has stopped turning,
quiet this yearning flesh pounding,
rotten and demanding desire.
