I
make no claim to fame as an artist. I can barely draw a straight
line with a ruler. However, I doodle. And, on rare occasions,
I find my doodling actually resembles something.
This
was a doodle I did after reading an Atlanta Journal-Constitution
article about the life of Erma Bombeck shortly after her death
in April 1996. It has been filed away ever since.
It
was one of Erma's trademarks: she could make you laugh and
cry at the same time.
God
Bless You, Erma. You are missed.
